Every day Valley Beth Shalom Sisterhood women perform mitzvot for Sisterhood, the Synagogue and the community by donating time and money to the many Sisterhood projects. Every year the volunteers and contributors are recognized at a special event.

ALL PAID-UP SISTERHOOD MEMBERS ARE ELIGIBLE TO BE RECOGNIZED AT THE SPECIAL EVENT THROUGH THEIR PARTICIPATION IN THE NEW VOLUNTEER APPRECIATION POLICY.

Each chair is responsible for maintaining the hourly records of her committee volunteers and submitting the records to the Appreciation Chair.

VOLUNTEER APPRECIATION REQUIREMENTS:

1. Volunteer Service........ Minimum 100 Service Hours.

2. Cash ............................. Minimum $100.00

3. Combination................ Minimum $50.00 cash and Minimum 50 Service Hours.

FULL VOLUNTEER APPRECIATION:

1. Executive Committee.

2. Board of Directors.

3. Honorary Board Members.

CASH CREDIT CAN BE EARNED BY PURCHASING:

1. Scrip.................................................. 5% of purchase

2. Theatre Tickets...................................... 80% of profit

3. Tribute Cards (Sisterhood Mails)...................$1.50 per card

4. Tribute Cards (packet of 7)........................$15.00 per packet
