We proudly consider Valley Beth Shalom to be our spiritual home. It is a place in the world that inspires us to live a life of meaning and purpose. The collective wisdom and joy we share with friends and family here is truly extraordinary!

Indeed, it is our deep responsibility as a community to provide a space for moments of connection, learning, and growth to thrive. That is why we have initiated a new effort to encourage and support these moments of connection, learning and growth through our Madrichim project. Madrichim or Mentors, is inspired by the Pararabbinics program initiated by Rabbi Schulweis nearly thirty years ago. A mentor is someone who guides members, new and not yet involved, in deepening their connections to the community. A mentor has already discovered a place for him or her self and cares deeply in the quest to guide others toward similar goals. A mentor recognizes that belonging means being connected to others to realize the very best our lives can offer.

The High Holidays are an ideal time to make a new commitment to something you are passionate about. Valley Beth Shalom is one of those passions and our mentors are here to help you reach your next great vista. Answer your call and theirs this coming year!
