Shalom ECLC Families,

Thank you for participating in our wonderful programs this past Sunday.

Our 5th-7th grade students, together with their parents and with the help of our clergy, participated in World Wide Wrap . We learned about the significance of the T'fillin, why we wrap it on our less dominant arm, and why we place the prayers on our heads and arms.

Following our T'fillin wrap and service, the students enjoyed brunch, and we ended the day by meeting Elie Klien from Adi Negev-Nachalat Eran and learning about the innovative facility that helps so many people in need. Adi Negev-Nahalat Eran is a 40-acre state-of-the-art rehabilitation village in the south of Israel. In addition to caring for and empowering more than 300 residents and special education students with severe disabilities, the expansive and progressive village offers a host of rehabilitative solutions for individuals with varied levels of need across Israel, cultivates empathy and acceptance through education, and provides individuals with disabilities with a framework for personal advancement, social integration, and gainful employment.

After the presentation, our students made cards for Israeli wounded soldiers and gave them to Elie so he could distribute them to soldiers currently staying in Adi Negev during their rehabilitation.

In addition to Elie Klien visiting us from Israel, we had Elie and Noah come by last Tuesday and speak about the incredible work being done every day at the Israel Guide Dog Center.

Eli let us meet his dog Martin - and told us the positive impact this fantastic program has had on his quality of life.

Today is 133 days, and we have 136 hostages still in Gaza.

We continue to hope and pray for everyone’s swift return and for the safety and well-being of all Israeli soldiers and citizens. Please join us in keeping them in your thoughts during these challenging times.

CJA WORKSHOP FOR ECLC COMMUNITY,

VBS SANCTUARY OPENING WEEKEND

Calling all ECLC students and families to join us Saturday morning for community Shabbat Service followed by a celebratory Kiddush lunch.

7th grade students will join the Bima to lead Sh'ma & V'Ahavta and Alienu.
All ECLC students will be asked to come up to the Bima to participate in Ma Tovu with our clergy.

Please join us as we support our students during this special service and first Shabbat service in our new sanctuary.
