Shalom ECLC Families!
Passover Preparations Engage Every Classroom
This week at ECLC has been buzzing with excitement as every class delved into creative and meaningful Passover activities. Our school halls are alive with the spirit of the holiday, with each student participating in unique, hands-on experiences that make the traditions of Passover come alive.
From crafting beautiful tie-dyed Matzah covers to engaging in a Chocolate Seder, our students have explored the significance of Passover through a variety of sensory and intellectual activities. The Cooking Academy whipped up delicious Matzah Brie while incorporating fun Passover games, and the Tech Academy combined technology and tradition by creatively illustrating the ten plagues with AI.
Our 7th graders had a particularly memorable week, joining the OurSpaceLA participants and their parents for a special annual Seder, led with warmth and insight by Rabbi Feinstein and Cantor Fox. This joint Seder is a cherished tradition, fostering a deep connection within our community.
Anticipation Builds for the End of Year Celebration
In the midst of our Passover preparations, we have also begun planning for our End of Year Celebration. This important event will celebrate the achievements of all our students, with special recognition for our graduating 7th graders and 3rd graders who will be receiving their first Sidurim. Please mark your calendars for Sunday, May 19th for what promises to be a memorable day for our school community.
As we move closer to Passover, please keep the state of Israel it people and particularly, the 133 hostages in you heart and prayers, leave ba seat in your seder table for them, or drink a 5th cup for them wishing all 4 L’shonot G’eulah will indeed resume them from slavery to freedom. #BringThemHomeNow #RealLifeSlavery
