7:30 PM - 9:00 PMPursuing Godliness: The Religious Vision of Rabbi Harold Schulweis
Wednesday evenings, January 22, 29, Feb 5, 7:30
Valley Beth Shalom
As rabbi, theologian, community leader, and public intellectual, Harold Schulweis took on the most vexing moral and religious issues of the 20th century:
How do we believe in God after the Holocaust?
What is the meaning of Jewish life today?
How do we live morally in an amoral time?
Widely acknowledged as the most influential congregational rabbi of his generation, Schulweis' teaching touched the lives of Jews across the world. This year, we celebrate his centennial by opening his books once again to rediscover his religious vision and moral genius.
Join Rabbi Ed Feinstein for this special learning opportunity.
