Ori Zur, piano – Ori Zur is a composer and pianist from Los Angeles, CA. He has been part of the Valley Beth Shalom community since childhood, graduating from the VBS Day School in 2012. His musical journey has been significantly influenced by his connection to Jewish music. Growing up, Ori played the piano at the Day School’s Shabbat services and sang with Cantor Fox's Hazanut Choir on Saturday mornings from age 9 to 14. Throughout high school, he continued to contribute musically to the VBS community, playing piano for High Holiday children's services alongside VBS Rabbis. In 2022, Ori graduated from Northwestern University with degrees in music and computer science. He is currently pursuing a career in music composition and audio software development.
