Director of Development

Judy Feldman joins Valley Beth Shalom with 25 years of experience in the nonprofit and education sectors as a strategic fundraiser and community builder. Most recently, Judy was the Senior Director of Advancement at American Jewish University (AJU) focusing primarily on the Brandeis-Bardin campus, home of Camp Alonim and the Brandeis Collegiate Institute. Prior to AJU, Judy spent ten years at the Anti-Defamation League where she held a variety of positions in development, programming and community outreach. Judy began her professional career at an education nonprofit arm of UCLA that provided strategic planning, instructional leadership, and capacity building to public school educators throughout Southern California.

Judy has been connected with VBS for over four decades, where she’s personally experienced the community’s deep connections, purpose-driven programming and spiritual engagement. She is excited to join VBS at this time in its history to help build, grow and secure a successful future.
