Lisa Leib
Lisa Leib
Clergy Department Manager and B'nai Mitzvah Coordinator
Lisa joined the VBS administrative staff in August of 2021. She sits at the entrance to the clergy offices where she helps all with her famous smile on her face.
Lisa changed her career from for-profit big business to synagogue work after 10 years as the president of the Sisterhood at Temple Judea. She was a long time active volunteer in the Community of Caring by making phone calls and visits to congregants and delivering “Thinking of You” care packages to people who were in need of a little cheering up. This inspired her passion for the Jewish community in our area, expressing her love for connection with community and individual congregants.
Lisa then moved to Temple Aliyah where she was the Rabbi’s assistant for 8 years. She was often the first point of contact for members regarding simchas and bereavements. Juggling busy schedules, congregant needs and all the behind the scenes preparations for programs, events and services was a natural progression to become the Executive Administrative Assistant at Valley Beth Shalom. She has 2 grown handsome sons who are doing well out on their own, Kevin and Greg.
