Maddy Begley

Meet Maddy Begley, our enthusiastic 24-year-old Youth Engagement Manager! A proud graduate of the University of California, Santa Barbara (Class of 2023), Maddy recently spent an adventurous year teaching English in southern Israel, where she dove headfirst into new cultures and experiences.

Maddy brings a fresh perspective and a passion for community engagement. She’s all about creating fun, meaningful activities that resonate with youth and inspire connection. Maddy is here as the New Youth Engagement Manager because she wants to help Jewish kids foster a sense of community, connect with their roots, and understand the importance of belonging. She believes that being Jewish means they can always find a community wherever they go in the world, and she wants to empower them to embrace that.

Having experienced firsthand how vital a community can be during her own school years, Maddy knows that actively seeking out connection made a significant difference in her life.

Maddy is beyond excited to be part of this vibrant community and can't wait to bring her energy and creativity to everything she does. If any parents would like to meet for coffee at Bubby’s the next time they’re on campus, she’d love to connect!
