Thanksgiving Baskets for DCFS Families 
Nourish the hungry: Assemble Thanksgiving Baskets for families with the Department of Children and Family Services.

Thanksgiving Bags are a collection of items supplied and bagged by each participating household. You must include each item on the list and place it in a grocery bag ready for distribution. Feel free to add a festive card!

Get Well Cards for VBS Caring Connections 
Comfort the sick: Supply our VBS Caring Connection with handmade Get Well Cards for our members who are experiencing illness.

Sack Lunches for Hope of the Valley
Feed the hungry: Our Brown Bag Lunches will go to guests of Hope of the Valley Rescue Mission.

I agree that when handling food, all participants will wear a mask and sterile gloves. Work surfaces will be sanitized to ensure everyone's health and safety. All items will be within their expiration date.

Casseroles for Hope of the Valley (with optional Pasta Sauce Class from Danny Corsun) 
Nourish the hungry: Bake casseroles.

I agree that when handling food, all participants will wear a mask and sterile gloves. Work surfaces will be sanitized to ensure everyone's health and safety. All items will be within their expiration date.

TERMS OF USE
By utilizing this website and its associated recipes and instruction and covering any and all workshops (both in-person & digitally/on-line) given by Culinary Kids Academy/Culinary Kidz LLC, I hereby indicate my understanding and agreement to the following Terms of Use; That my contact information may be utilized so I can be informed of future fun workshop opportunities (CKA will never share email information with third parties). I further understand that there are natural and inherent risks associated with participating in any cooking activities, including, but not limited to, the risk of physical injury or harm from knives, stoves, ovens and other kitchen equipment, hot water/oil, food borne illness and any allergic reactions. I acknowledge and assume any and all risks associated with the culinary activity in which me, my family, and any other participants in my home/under my care will be participating and any damage, illness, and/or injuries resulting from such risks. I further agree to defend, indemnify, save and hold harmless Culinary Kids Academy/Culinary Kidz LLC, its members, owners, shareholders, directors, officers, managers, employees, and agents from any and all claims, actions, or causes of action, demands, damages, or liabilities arising out of or related to my participation in culinary classes. This waiver specifically includes any claims made by my family, other participants in my home and me arising from the alleged negligent acts of Culinary Kids Academy/Culinary Kidz LLC, its members, owners, shareholders, directors, officers, managers, employees, and agents. This waiver shall remain in force and effect and apply to all CKA workshops taken by me, my family or other participants in my home until revoked in writing by me and delivered to Culinary Kids Academy/Culinary Kidz LLC.

Lastly, I hereby grant and assign Culinary Kids Academy/Culinary Kidz LLC the irrevocable and unrestricted right to use and publish for promotional, trade, and advertising purposes in any manner or medium, including website and internet promotion, all photographic, video and digital images of me/my family. Such photographic, video, and digital images will NOT include student names. I hereby release Culinary Kids Academy/Culinary Kidz LLC from any and all royalties, claims, and liabilities relating to said photographs, videos, and digital images.
"This Is Hunger" Virtual, Interactive Tour with MAZON

This tour with MAZON is live and guided. There are limited spots available, so please arrive to the Zoom promptly at 11:15 AM. This tour is expected to last approximately 40 minutes with discussion. Zoom links for the tour and for all projects can be found on the Mitzvah Day website.
VBS Food Bank Collection
We will be collecting items for the Food Bank.

Candy Collection for Operation Gratitude 
Share a portion of your wrapped, Halloween candy. Operation Gratitude distributes these sweet treats to deployed troops, veterans, and first responders.

I acknowledge that my completed projects must be dropped off at the VBS Reznik Lot on November 8th, from 12:30-2:00pm. I will remain in my car while wearing a mask, while a volunteer takes the items from the trunk. If I do not feel well, I will stay home.
