Lunch and Learn with Rabbi Yael Aranoff
Join us in the learning of stories and wisdom from Ta'anit, one of the tractates of the Talmud. "Ta'anit" means "fasting." What can we learn from a rabbinic exploration of fasting?
Through the lens of a rabbinic exploration of fasting, the pages of Ta'anit are filled with Jewish understandings of what it means to be in relationship with God, in relationship with others and with the world around us, and in relationship with ourselves. We look forward to learning together!
Location: Zicklin Youth Center. Bring your own Kosher lunch. Coffee, tea, and dairy cookies will be served.
